What is PylonCheck?
A 72 × 72 × 25 mm WiFi box that plugs into the CONSOLE port of a Pylontech battery. It reads the BMS (state of charge, cells, State of Health, temperatures, alarms) and sends it to a private cloud dashboard so you can see your Pylontech battery from anywhere in the world. It also feeds Home Assistant, MQTT, a JSON API and Jeedom locally. 39 €, no subscription.
What does "Pylontech diagnostics" mean here?
Reading what the battery management system reports — every cell voltage and their spread, SOH, cycles, temperatures, protection flags — battery by battery, and keeping it over time. That is what reveals a drifting cell, a weak module or a battery that never gets a full charge. See Pylontech diagnostics.
Is PylonCheck read-only?
Yes. It never writes to the BMS and does not touch the inverter link.
What is in the box?
The PylonCheck, a labelled RJ45 console cable and a USB-C cable. Use any 5 V USB charger.
Compatibility
Which batteries are supported?
Pylontech US2000, US2000C, US3000C, US5000, UP2500 and Force L1, up to 16 in one stack, mixed stacks included. High-voltage Force H2 / H48050: supported by the firmware through the BMS console, early installs — tell us your setup first.
Does it work with my inverter (Victron, SMA, Growatt, Deye, Sofar…)?
Yes, with any inverter: PylonCheck uses the CONSOLE port, not the CAN / RS485 link to the inverter.
I have two separate stacks.
One box per master battery. Both can be in the same account.
Other battery brands?
PylonCheck is made for the Pylontech console protocol. Other brands are not supported.
Cloud & monitoring
Is the cloud included?
Yes, with no subscription: live dashboard, 3 years of history, offline and cell-balance email alerts, CSV export, private JSON link.
How often does the cloud update?
Every two minutes. The local dashboard refreshes every few seconds.
Where is my data stored?
On our servers in France. It is never sold or shared.
What happens if my WiFi or power goes down?
The cloud keeps the last reading and emails you after 6 hours of silence. When the box comes back, it resumes on its own.
Can I use it without the cloud?
Yes. Turn the cloud off; the local dashboard, Home Assistant, MQTT and the JSON API keep working.
Home Assistant & integrations
Does it work with Home Assistant?
Yes, through MQTT auto-discovery — the sensors appear by themselves, no YAML. REST through the JSON API also works. See the integration guide.
Jeedom, Node-RED, openHAB, Domoticz?
Yes, through MQTT or the JSON API.
Can I get push notifications on my phone?
Yes: SOC and temperature thresholds via Pushover, straight from the box, plus the cloud email alerts.

Is it PylonCheck or Pylon-Check?
Same product, two spellings. PylonCheck, Pylon-Check and Pylon Check all refer to the box sold at pylon-check.com.
Why is it called PylonCheck?
Because it does one thing: it checks your Pylontech — every cell, its health, its temperature — and lets you see it from anywhere.

How much is shipping?
It depends on the country and carrier and is shown at checkout before you pay. Parcels leave France within 1–3 business days, tracked.
