Your PylonCheck box sends a full snapshot of the battery to your private cloud dashboard every two minutes. Open it from your phone on a beach or from your office PC: charge, power, every battery of the stack, cells, temperatures and years of history. Included with the 39 € box — no subscription, ever.
Outbound only, nothing to open on your router
The box connects out to the cloud like a phone opens a website. No port forwarding, no VPN, no dynamic DNS, no fixed IP.
What you see in the cloud
Live state of charge
Percentage, power in watts, voltage, current and whether the stack is charging, discharging or idle — updated every two minutes.
Every battery, one by one
A stack of 2, 4 or 16 modules is shown as a whole and battery by battery: SOC, voltage, SOH, cycles and state of each.
Cells and their spread
Lowest and highest cell voltage and the spread between them, the first sign of an ageing or unbalanced module.
Temperatures
Cell and BMS temperatures, lowest and highest, so a hot garage in August or a cold one in January never goes unnoticed.
Health and cycles
State of Health and cycle count as reported by the BMS, kept over the years so you can see the trend.
Charts over time
Charge, power, voltage, cell spread and temperature charted from the last hours to the last years.
Three years of history, kept automatically
Every push is stored, then averaged as it ages so a year of data stays fast to open.

Each averaged point records how many readings it contains, so a chart never passes one lonely reading after a power cut off as a full hour.
Alerts by email
A battery cannot tell you it has gone silent, and it rarely tells you its cells are drifting. The cloud can.
Box offline for 6 hours
Power cut, WiFi down, router replaced, cable pulled: if your PylonCheck stops reporting for 6 hours, you get an email. The threshold is deliberately well above the push interval, so a router reboot never raises a false alarm.
Cells drifting apart
The cloud compares the gap between your highest and lowest cell with this pack's own normal over the previous month. When it widens, the email says by how much and the most likely reason — very often the battery has not reached a full charge for weeks, which is when the BMS balances its cells.
Your data is yours
The dashboard is private to your account. Two ways to take the data elsewhere:
- CSV export — the whole history, or one battery at a time, for a spreadsheet, a warranty claim or your installer.
- Private JSON link — a secret URL returning the latest live snapshot, for a relative, an installer or your own scripts. Off until you enable it, revocable at any time.
- Several boxes, one account — a house and a holiday home, or two separate stacks: each box appears with its own name.
How the cloud is built
A 128-bit key per box
Each box identifies itself with a random 128-bit key. Nobody can guess it, and nobody can read your dashboard without your account.
Hosted in France
Your readings are stored on our own servers in France and never sold or shared. Unlinking a box deletes its history.
Read-only, both ways
The box only reads the battery, and the cloud only receives. Nothing in the cloud can send a command to your battery.
Works without the cloud too
If you prefer to keep everything at home, switch the cloud off: the local dashboard, Home Assistant, MQTT and the JSON API keep working.
Questions
Is the cloud really free?
Yes. The cloud dashboard, the 3-year history, the alerts and the exports are included in the 39 € price of the box. There is no subscription and no paid tier.
How often is the cloud updated?
Every two minutes. The box itself reads the battery every few seconds for the local dashboard; the cloud receives a full snapshot every two minutes, which is plenty for a battery whose charge changes slowly.
Can I see my battery from another country?
Yes — that is the point. The cloud dashboard is a normal web page: open it from any browser, anywhere, on mobile data or on hotel WiFi.
What if my internet is down?
The box keeps working locally. The cloud shows the last reading received and, after 6 hours of silence, emails you.
Can I turn the cloud off?
Yes, from the box's own settings page. It then stops sending anything; the local features keep working.
