2. Hosting

The Site and the PylonCheck cloud service are hosted on servers operated by the publisher in France, connected through Free SAS (8 rue de la Ville l’Évêque, 75008 Paris, France), and delivered through the Cloudflare network (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA).

3. What we sell

Pylon-Check.com sells the "PylonCheck" device, a WiFi monitoring device for Pylontech battery systems that reads the battery management system (read-only) and comes with an online dashboard (the "cloud service") included at no extra cost and without subscription. The cloud service is provided on a best-effort basis, without a guaranteed availability level. Product photos and illustrations are indicative and have no contractual value; specifications are given in good faith and may be updated as the product evolves.

4. Prices & payment

All prices on the Site are displayed in Euros (€), tax-inclusive where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated and shown before you confirm your order. Payment is processed securely at checkout via Stripe (card payments) or PayPal. Pylon-Check.com never sees or stores your full card details — they are handled entirely by Stripe/PayPal's PCI-compliant systems.

5. Orders & delivery

An order is confirmed once payment has been accepted; you will receive an email confirmation with your order reference. Estimated delivery times are given at checkout and are indicative. Risk of loss/damage in transit passes to the carrier's network as per standard shipping terms; please check your parcel on delivery and report any visible damage to us promptly.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)

In accordance with EU and French consumer law, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact [email protected] before the deadline. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging; return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received.

7. Warranty

The PylonCheck device is sold with a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to the legal warranty of conformity under French/EU law. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, or an improper power supply. To make a warranty claim, contact [email protected] with your order reference.

Pylontech, US5000, US3000, US2000 and Force are trademarks of Shenzhen Pylon Technologies Co., Ltd. Pylon-Check.com is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pylontech.

9. Disclaimer

The PylonCheck is a passive monitoring device. It does not control charging, discharging or any safety system of the battery. Data displayed is provided as-is, for informational purposes only. The user is responsible for the safe operation of their own battery system.

10. Privacy & data we collect

When you place an order, we collect the personal data necessary to process it (name, address, email, order details) and keep it only as long as required for order fulfilment, accounting and legal obligations. We never sell your personal data. It may be shared with the service providers strictly needed to run the Site: Stripe/PayPal (payment), our carrier/SendCloud (shipping), and Brevo (transactional emails).

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

Data sent by the PylonCheck device. When the cloud service is on (the default), the device sends battery telemetry — state of charge, voltages, currents, temperatures, cell values, battery states and the device's firmware version and IP address — about every two minutes, identified by the device's own random key. This data is stored on our servers in France to provide your dashboard, history and alerts: individual readings for 7 days, 5-minute averages for 90 days and hourly averages for 3 years. It is never sold or shared. You can switch the cloud service off on the device at any time, and unlinking a device from your account deletes its stored history. Local features (web page, JSON API, MQTT) do not send anything to us.

11. Cookies & tracking

This Site uses Google Tag Manager to load a basic, privacy-conscious analytics tag (Google Analytics 4) that helps us understand site traffic and improve the Site. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential (analytics) cookies; your choice is stored in your browser and analytics only run if you accept. Strictly necessary cookies (shopping cart, security token) are always active, as they are required for the Site to function and do not require consent under the ePrivacy directive.

12. Liability

Pylon-Check.com cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the Site, nor for service interruptions, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in this notice limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. in case of gross negligence or for death/personal injury).
